Thack used the word "album" in a music thread and that jiggled my memory that I'm curious if anyone knows anything about the new turntables that hook into computers and let you burn albums onto CDs? ~ I have many many many vinyl albums, some of which I can't even find on CDs ~ I know the sound won't be as pristine as a professionally burned CD, especially because I'm guessing that some of my albums are sooooo old that I'm not even sure what condition they're in ~ but I can live with that ~ and I'd much rather pay less than $100 for a turntable IF IT WORKS than shell out $10-12-15 for each CD ~

I'll admit I've never used one but this seems to be a common example of the type of thing you're looking for.

I saw a review of them on Good Morning America. They loved them and it appears they are easy to use and the quality is surprisingly good.
