Whatever side you are on in the conflict that is going on right now between Israel and Hamas, one thing is very clear. There is no media allowed in to report on what is really happening there. This video has been removed from Youtube many times and people just keep reposting it. I don't know enough about what is happening here because the information just isnt there.

Israel isn't an innocent victim. I'm quite certain of that.

There is always going to be a backlash against jews when Israel conducts the type of military operation it's doing in Gaza. The combination of the usual anti-semites and the newer generation who has grown up seeing Israel as an occupying power who reacts disproportionally to attacks, will always act against jews when they see what is obviously a one sided invasion.

I am thinking that many countries are going to try and form an economic boycott of Israel. I think it will be ineffective because the US will do whatever it has to do to see that Israel is viable, but in the long run it will do much the same as the boycott of South Africa.

I don't think anyone thought things out very well leading up to 1948. I'm not sure that anyone can think their way out of this one.

Seeing terror in the eyes of children, seeing children killed and injured is the truest sign that the world has failed. Palestinian children, Israeli children, those in the Congo and other African countries, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and on and on, we have failed. We don't need a canary in a mine to say the situation is becoming more unliveable. The world needs to have better priorities. Is oil worth the lives of children? Is politics so important that we refuse aid to children? Is kissing the ass of a brutal dictator so important that we allow him to deprive the kids of the aid sent. I wish we could all just stop and take a breath. How can this be handled without destroying the future, our children. You can take all I own if it can keep one child from being scared and hungry. You can have my labor if it will keep one child from being killed or maimed. You can have all that I am if you just stop and think about the babies first.
