Unfortunate acronym of the day

On the same note, back around 2000 Canada's right was divided between The Progressive Conservative Party and The Reform Alliance Party. When they amalgamated, the first name for the new party that they came up with was The Conservative Reform Alliance Party.

We actually have a committee formed at the university this year called: "Committee to Remove Archaic/assinine Policies." Though, their function is pretty important...tracking down old policies that just add time and expense but aren't needed (i.e., something that was implemented because of some regulation that hasn't existed in 10 years, but nobody took "off the books" when it was no longer needed.) I think our state legislature needs such a committee.
