The USA did not make either list ~ congrats to our Canadian friends who come in at #9 on "least corrupt" ~ if I can find a website for "Transparency International", I'll post the methodology used ~ Sooz

The world's most and least corrupt countries

A look at the world's 10 most corrupt and 10 least corrupt countries according to the Corruption Perceptions Index report published Tuesday by watchdog Transparency International.

The world's ten most corrupt countries:

1. Somalia

2. Afghanistan

3. Myanmar

4. Sudan

5. Iraq

6. Chad

7. Uzbekistan

8. Turkmenistan

9. Iran

10. Haiti

The world's ten least corrupt countries:

1. New Zealand

2. Denmark

3. Singapore

Most of our "corruption" has been pretty much small potatoes... so far. Methinks there's something ready to erupt in Quebec, though.

I will put the welcome mat out for you glitter. It can get cold in NZ to especialy in the South Island not quite as bad as Canada.

I was born in UK Sooz but met my kiwi sailor in UK and moved here in 1962 to check the place before I would get married. Still here and still married great country love my life here.
