is the same as for at least the last 15 years ~ and that is to NOT make resolutions ~ and whenever I think I should resolve to do , I remind myself of my #1 resolution ~ Image ~ my thinking is that you won't be disappointed if you haven't set yourself up ~ how about everybody else?

No, I don't bother. It's not like I'm ever going to keep them...

My new year's resolution is to survive the next year, sane.

I don't make any actual New Year's resolutions. Though, I'll be joining everyone else who has resolved to lose weight for a month or two of dieting. I've gained way too much weight this past year with my more sedentary job (lots of time on my feet, but not really doing much exercising, just leaves me with sore legs/feet at the end of the day so I don't want to exercise then either). I just know better than to try dieting between Thanksgiving and New Years when everyone is being tempted with tons of sweets and big feasts, so the diet starts after the holidays are done.

Calluna, can you send me a few extra pounds? lol! I'm sort of wasting away, here. ( The first thing to go when I'm stressed is my appetite.)

My resolution for this year is to nag my husband until HE gets a checkup. Last year, I resolved to get all my checkups done- I was way overdue. (Good thing I did!)

I make lots of New Year's resolutions. If I didn't, I'd miss that profound sense of disappointment in myself when I don't keep them.
