... this evening at 8 PM ET for Gold Medal in the World Junior Hockey Championship. Canada has won 5 consecutive Gold Medals so far.
The Juniors are far more exciting to watch than the NHL.

I just happened to be in Montreal during last year's championships. My daughter got so caught up in it that she bought a Team Canada jersey with her own money- not a pittance to a ten year old! Go Canada!

That sounds like it was a fun game to watch- sorry we missed it! Then again, hubby fell asleep pretty early, I'm not sure he would have seen much even if we did find it. lol

As I get more and more turned off to the excesses of professional sports, I enjoy amateur competitions on all levels much more ~ I also see the occasional loss as an excellent life lesson ~
