I know the Ds have overused the filibuster too in the past ~ but the Rs have raised the bar ~ there is NO way to change anything in the past, and I don't believe D overuse ever reached the "everything" level ~ I fully agree that, as practiced today, "it raises a legitimate question about whether this power is being used to protect the minority or merely to obstruct action and progress.â€

it is insanity. but what is more insane is that some accuse Obama of being a do-nothing president.

It goes back to that propoganda post.  They will say whatever disparaging thing they want because they know that the damage is done even if Obama's record is easily defensible. That's why it's important to meet propoganda with counter-propoganda. The lies need to be defused.
