This is why I don't lie ~ when you get caught [and you will ... eventually], you must [a] admit you lied, or pretend you were "misquoted" [but video clips can be a problem] or "misunderstood" or "wish you had used different words", or [c] lie again to support your prior lie, which gets very complicated and you have to remember what you said to who ~ [b]but if you tell the truth, you don't need to waste brain space remembering anything ~Image~ someone should explain this difference

Seventy percent of voters said they want Brown to work with Democrats, 52 percent said they were satisfied with Obama's agenda, and 68 percent (including a majority of Brown voters), approve of Massachusetts' health care program, which contains many of the same elements contained in federal proposals.

Then why did they vote for this guy?????

I think sooz said she had something that had a semi-logical explanation.  I still don't get it.  The people of MA are generally not religious loons and are generally more interested in education and healthcare than waging war.  Do they think the truly obstructionist Republican party is going to allow Brown to work with democrats?  They are angry?  I still don't know what they are angry about.

I am FURIOUS at them for insuring gridlock. WTF!!!

Monster - Do people usually care about the personality of your Senator?  Lautenberg is as old as dirt and is probably a dick. He's not know for his sparkling personality.  He's got a great rags to riches story and he took on Bush.  So of course I voted for him.

Tom Kean Jr v Menendez came up while Bush was in office.  I liked Tom Kean Sr as governor.  He was a moderate and ran the state well during his tenure, plus I liked his work on the 9/11 commission.  Then his son Tom Kean Jr was involved in running for Senate in 2006.  Could I vote for an R when the republicans were all playing lock step with Bush????   Absolutely, positively not.  Kean JR was probably a great guy, but the politics of the RNC would never allow me to vote for him.    So Menendez it was.

Mass expects Brown to work with dems.  They should have known better.

i agree.  the fact that 62% "want" something that is pretty much a non-starter should have put the 62% on the side of the Dem.
