I was watching the real time response graph on CNN when the Republicans delivered their rebuttal.  They had a blue line for the Democrats, a yellow line for the independents and a red line for the Republicans.  As the guy (don't know who he was) gave his speech, the blue and yellow lines moved up and down, but the red line stayed firmly at the top of the graph.

Are Republicans that stuck in their ideology.... are they really zombies?

the redline is the least important one, because the repubs listening were already convinced before they woke up this morning.

The "guy" was Bob McDonnell, the brand new [2 weeks] governor of Virginia ~ he has a nice manner and his "rebuttal" was well prepared and well delivered ~ but I cringed when he started down the "sciptures" and "protecting innocent life" roads ~ I think the set, audience, etc, were a bit over the top ~ and gramps is absolutely right about the red line being predetermined ~

I see... so the focus group was democrats, independents and bricks on the republicans' buttons. Now I get it.

I was amused to hear him mentioning the republican health care plan. As usual and contrary to Gopqeds statements, all he talked about were obviously the corner stones of the NO Party's plan, tort reform and allowing insurance across state lines.
