I am a fan of Michael Palmer, the author ~ and I have touted several of his books here in VoC ~ Katy informed me a couple days ago that, in connection with the release of The Last Surgeon, his latest book, Palmer is donating $1 for every Facebook member who becomes a "fan" of his between today and February 16th [book release date] to the Red Sox Foundation and the Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program in support of veterans suffering PTSD ~ all you have to do is click on this link [ http://www.facebook.com/find-friends/?expand=pymk&ref=hpb#/michaelpalmerthrillers?ref=search&sid=100000490940183.2382853197..1 ] and then click on "become a fan" ~ I just did, and I hope others will do so as well ~ it's wonderful to see celebrities use their celebrity status to help others ~

arrgh...I just gave up & logged out of FB for the night because my glitch was frustrating me too much. LOL! I'll click it tomorrow, once I fight my way to my home page.
