I'd be pissed off if this were his own child ~ the fact that it is NOT only makes it worse in my eyes ~ I hope the book is thrown at this guy ~ and at the "female relative" ~

Ohio man accused of tattooing infant

LOUISVILLE, Ohio, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Police in Louisville, Ohio, say a 20-year-old man is facing a child endangerment charge for allegedly giving a 1-year-old girl a tattoo.
Louisville Police Chief Andrew Turowski said the young girl tattooed with the letter "A" was not suspect Lee M. Deitrick's daughter and the tattoo on the infant's rear end could not be removed, The Repository newspaper in Canton, Ohio, reported Tuesday.
Turowski said the motive for Deitrick's alleged actions last November remains unknown. The meaning behind the "A" tattoo on the child, who was taken to Dietrick's home by a female relative, also is under investigation.
"It is hard to fathom why someone would try to do that," Turowski said to The Repository. "It was at his residence. The female relative was the only one with the child, so I guess it is safe to say she was baby-sitting. I would not call her a suspect at this time."
The Repository said Deitrick could be sentenced to five years in prison if convicted of the third-degree felony charge.
