I have been having server problems and haven't been able to get internet explorer to come up . Gerrrrrrrrrr

Nothing we can do if your Service Provider is having problems but I suggest you download and run the following just to make sure your system is clean.

Advanced System Care (Easy-to-use, but efficient, system maintenance tool)
Malwarebytes (Anti-malware)
Spybot-S&D (Spyware removal)

Dee, all 3 of the programs FF recommends in his post are free and are excellent ~ I use each of them regularly and, in fact, use Advanced System Care daily ~ if, on the other hand, it's a problem with IE itself, I know both FF and Jab highly recommend FireFox ~ and I'm finding that the more I use FireFox, the more I like it ~

I'd rather get to the bottom of Dee's IE problem first sooz before recommending a Firefox installation.
It may just be a registry error, which Advanced System Care may resolve, it could also be a browser hijack or something more sinister.
Best to take things one stage at a time.
