Considering the ineptness of the TSA, I'd not be surprised if he voiced his concerns and was ignored. So he went public.

sooz, do you honestly think those who intend to do harm don't already know about this?  I would imagine they are now a tad upset that WE know about it and things will change. I think you underestimate them. I would imagine they know all sorts of security flaws that we do not.

That is why I've always said that all of the millions of dollars spent on training and equipment for security at ports, land or water, will never keep us safe. They are only meant as a placebo for the frightened masses to keep them using those ports. All of that while the terrorists  giggle at the money being pissed away while our economy is in the pits.
I wonder how much this "fix" will cost?
