They don't even have to do that.
All they have to do is stop investing in US paper and pressuring the Asian markets to do the same.
Edit: They can also refuse to accept the USD and insist on getting paid in Euros. Of course, the US can refuse to buy but US corporations have billions invested in China and they'll not have the US market for their products any more than the Chinese would.
Might be time for US lawmakers to face the reality that they are no longer the big dog on the porch.
