After a few years of reading posts by those who claim to be Christians, who put down those who are homeless, drug addicts and anyone they consider "beneath" them, I found one Christian who gets it. This is what many of our members are talking about when the talk turns to Christianity and current attitudes. I am not a Christian and although I don't agree that illnesses or hard times are "acts of God", I do agree with his admonishment about what should/could be done by Christians (or anyone). Live your faith instead of just giving it lip service. If we all lived by these words, Christian or not, our world would be a much better place.
