I think I would have to agree with McConnell.  Doesn't the electoral college give smaller states with smaller populations more say in the outcome of Presidential elections?  Without it, you might as well just vote the coasts and skip the centre of the country.

This is not the first time McConnell has expressed unease with elections and popular votes. In July, the Republican Leader took to the Senate floor to declare that we must rewrite the Constitution

Why does it seem like these guys always claim how wonderful the Constitution is and yet want to change it?
