Affordable Care Act gives 2.5 million young adults coverage By Andrew Jones

Defenders of the Affordable Care Act received good news Wednesday morning.
According to the National Center for Health Statistics, 2.5 million young adults received health insurance, thanks to a provision in the laws which allows people under 26-years-old to stay on their parents' insurance.
The percentage of 19 to 25-year-olds with health insurance increased from 64 percent to 73 percent from September 2010 to June 2011, the agency said. Coverage for 26 to 35-year-olds was unchanged at 72 percent during the same time.
