Coming in late could get her the nomination.  She might get a Perry or Cain bounce and, having been able to avoid the debates, evade self-destruction.  Right now it looks like the 'Pubs are going to go with Rommney but they're holding their noses to do it.  Palin's got the kind of star power that might unseat him.  But, if they do, who's going to keep an eye on Russia.
