This board is running very slowly today. For each page I open, it's taking a loooong time to load.

It's not my Internet provider as other sites on the Internet are opening lightning fast.

Are others having this problem??

The site knows you're getting a new computer tomorrow, wants to reinforce your decision. It'll be very fast on Saturday. Happy Thanksgiving, Scifi!

It was slow for me earlier today, SciFi ~ but seems to be fine now ~ let us know if the slowness keeps on for you ~

Still extremely slow. It's taking 45 seconds to over a minute for each page to load! A couple of times, it timed out.

I probably won't be getting the new computer tomorrow since my brother and sister-in-law have offered to buy me one as a Holiday gift, so there's no need to rush out tomorrow and and put up with those crazy, pushy, insane crowds.

SciFi, have you cleared your cache? ~ and refreshed your browser? ~ I checked and there are no notices of problems on the DreamHost "Status" site ~ if Jab hasn't left yet, he might have other suggestions ~

It's intermittently loading faster now.

This is the only site I'm having problems with.

Give it some time. Probably our server has hiccups and there's nobody there to do much about it. Let's hope it doesn't get worse. I can imagine that over at dreamhost only the janitor is frantically running around to turn off beeping alarms.

Now I'm having problems with slow loading pages. Jabra, do something!!!!!

Fine for me too ~ and nothing reported on the DreamHost Status site ~ are you getting any kind of error message or is it just slow, pic? ~ if it's intermittent and limited in scope, there's not much we [read "we" as Jabra] can do ~ but let us know if it continues for you ~

Right now everything seems to be OK but earlier (around 10am EST) it was very slow.

It's probably just all the Black Saturday email ads clogging up the internet tubes.

Need an E-Rooter from E-Bay.
That ought do it.
Or maybe try some E-no.

It happened to me and lasted for weeks with no explanation. Then it stopped.
