I think some Canadians who supported the CONservatives are second guessing their choice.

More than just a few, methinks.

.....and yet their support remains steady at about 33 percent. What we need is more American style voting. Right now MP's represent their parties. The people who elected them are way down the list of their concerns. Implementing free votes, like they have in the States, in Parliament would get rid of that. MP's would be forced to represent their consituents.

My understanding of it is that their support is becoming more and more localised. Shouldn't be overly difficult to toss the CONs out on their ears if the opposition parties decide to grow up a bit.

We saw a lot of "buyer's remorse" in our recent election cycle ~ instead of learning anything from that, our GOP/TP is doubling-down on some of its most extreme positions and policies ~ I predict we'll see more winnowing out in 2014 ~
