Have noticed widespread new word in conservative P & M media: "Low Information Voter", to denote voters who voted for Obama, because how could they possibly have done that if they had taken the time to find out what was going on. Sort of like witnessing a convention of earnest evangelists lamenting...if only we had been able to reach them with The Word...before they went to hell. If only. Using this term in their speaking and writing provides a nice shorthand way to express contempt for the President and 53% of the voting population.

It presumably boosts the self esteem of their anti-Obama audiences, known to the rest of us as "wrong information voters".

Happy nonpartisan holidays!

(I posted this elsewhere as well, just for the heck of it)

Good observation, gramps ~ I do understand that too many are bogged down by real life and surviving to spend time and effort on current events issues, sometimes even those issues that affect them directly ~ but there is so much information readily available that willful ignorance takes at least some, and maybe more, effort ~ I just don't get how anyone with any level of "information" can possibly support the same policies that have been tried and tried and tried again and again and again ... and FAILED EVERY TIME ~ and yet, I've never heard any GOP/TPer even question why these policies would work this time after failing so often before ~ the one thing the GOP/TP has perfected is the use of "code words" that clearly explain everything to its "true believers" ~

That's a very serious problem up here in Canada. In our case, the right wing depends on the general public just not knowing. It works for them.
