We are going to have a very quiet New Years Eve here at home.  We gave up the night life many years ago but I am fixing homemade cheese soup, salad and homemade bread for dinner tonight. 

You beat me to it, Chaos. 

I'm folding clothes and watching the National Geographic channel and they have a documentary about "The Book of Revelation" and St. John the Devine.  Of course it's all about the "end of the world," and that brought me to the Mayan Calender Hysteria, and that brings me to the "wouldn't it be fun to bomb the hell out of Iran," which  brings me to "why on earth would anyone look at human life and think any 'god' would want to return to this nuthouse?"

There will be a January 2012, but I'm wondering what the end-timers will be looking at a year from now.

Dee, we had tuna for dinner, lmao. Too lazy to do anything else and my larder is sort of bare. Your dinner sounds yummy.

Now, I think I'll bring out the bottle of JD and toast 2012 with one drink.

The hospital was incredibly busy yesterday, so I am hoping for a quiet one today!!!!   Hubby's cooking a crown roast and I heard mention of lobster tails for my return this evening.  There are always people here>

Gladys Knight still had it going on!!!!   Absolutely a great show!!!
