Anyone making any resolutions for 2012? ~ I am sticking with the ONE AND ONLY resolution I've made for the last several years ... which is to not make any resolutions! ~ Image

I resolve to continue to learn, still be fascinated by the unexplained, newly discovered science or the newly sprouted flowers, keep my sense of humor, maintain or improve my health, ask for another raise at year end with another week's vacation Image,  read more books, be thankful for what is and not worry about what may come and take pleasure in as many moments as possible since my train is rapidly barreling toward the end of the line.

I don't normally bother with making resolutions since I never keep them.  However, this year I'm resolving to continue what I started last February - losing weight on a low carb diet.  Down seventy-two pounds so far.

I started following the Atkins program last February and have stuck to it since.  Basically gave up most processed foods (primarily anything in a box or a can), grains and starchy vegetables like potatoes and corn.  I eat low carb now.  It works for me.
