Unhappy campers
By Steve Benen

A year ago, congressional Republicans were an exuberant bunch. Riding high after massive midterm gains, and with President Obama's approval ratings faltering, GOP leaders and rank-and-file members felt very good about themselves, their standing, their agenda, and their future.

Regardless, House Republicans will gather for a Baltimore retreat later this month to ponder a course for the rest of the year.

That should be easy....oppose/obstruct/insult/degrade President Obama, Democrats, liberals, gays, reproductive rights, etc-....just keep tossing that bloody red meat to their base. Chum the waters!

People need to continue asking the Republicans in congress and the senate: "Where are all those "jobs! jobs! jobs!" you promised in 2010?"

What surprises me is that they are not taking credit for the improving economy and job market.  They could be saying "see how much better things are since you gave us The House last year.  Think of how much better it could still be if we had the Senate and Presidency."
