i am sitting at a bar in Dallas.  not exactly Democrat territory.  everyone was silent and attentive for the SOTU.

I have no idea what either of them said.  I don't know if either said anything cute.  The State of the Union address and the obligatory response no longer have any significance, and don't deserve the huffing and puffing some exhibit afterward.

The doom and gloom report was given by Mitch , as in George Bush 's budget director ... He came in with a Clinton surplus and left the directorship with a deficit and the GOP couldn't be more proud !!!! Mission accomplished ! And Mitt got a tax break !!! More money for Mitt to donate if he desired to his beloved polygamist cult !
