Most black face is an attempt to make fun of the minority race, and it is over the top, exaggerating the difference. VERY black face, big lips, etc.

Dressing up at a costume party as a famous black athlete isn't exactly the same, but when you make it a point to be vocal about the tiniest of insults towards YOUR minority status, you ought to be very careful of what you do.

I think we need to get away from the idea of labeling people as racists or not. It's not always that black and white, if you'll pardon the pun.

This is all about how people treat one another and how that is influenced by things such as skin color, ancestry, religious beliefs, etc.

I have no interest in trying to label Dov Hikind a racist. Nor did I post this story as an attack against the man.

The story shows how even a man who is sensitive to antisemitism can be unaware of other forms of prejudice.
