I knew that. The BC CONs must be "right" off the map, then?

Pretty much. They are also self-destructive. Not long before the election, when they should have been getting their act together, they went through a internal power fracus and pretty much shot themselves in the head.

So far, Senator Pamela Wallin, CONservative, has left the Con Caucus under a cloud, Senator Mike Duffy, CONservative, has left the Con Caucus under a cloud, Senator Patrick Brazeau, CONservative, has been kicked out of the Con Caucus following sexual assault charges but he is contesting the repayment of expenses, Senator Mac Harb, Liberal, has left the Liberal Caucus to contest the repayment of expenses, and Nigel Wright, P.M. Harper's Chief of Staff has resigned.
More to come, methinks.

So far, Harper's silence is digging a deeper hole for the CONs. It looks as if he's afraid to face the problem.

There's a lot more to come. The original audit was "scrubbed" before being released to the public and for the past two months the "government" has been claiming that Duffy paid the money back, all the while knowing that it was Nigel Wright who paid it. No one can convince anyone I know that the Prime Minister doesn't have any knowledge of what transpired. This is still open to investigation because the audit is going to be redone and turned over to the RCMP.

Harper should be sent for a time out in the Reform-A-Tory.

The Senate is debating a motion to find the Prime Minister's Office in Contempt of Parliament. This time around, it's serious enough to warrant investigation and calling witnesses before Parliament.

That both LeBreton and Tkachuk (Conservative Senators) as well as the PMO (Prime Minister's Office) participated in the subsequent coverup is what is most alarming of all, IMO. Add to that Harper's personal legal counsel arranged the deal with Duffy's lawyer for the $90,000. illegal "gift" from Harper's Chief of Staff, Nigel Wright, to reimburse Duffy's fraud proceeds. Harper's lawyer then abruptly resigned for no apparent reason.

There is absolutely no way PM Harper was unaware of the goings on. No way.

In a CBC non-scientific poll, an overwhelming majority of Canadians believe the Prime Minister of Canada is a liar.

The latest spin coming from CONservatives is that Canadians should be grateful that the CONservatives are being openly and honestly corrupt.

They are fooked, Sid.
Best thing the CONservative Party could do for itself at the moment is to have a leadership review and toss out Harper.
Otherwise they'll end up like Mulroney's PCs with something like 2 seats in Parliament.

There's an undercurrent of CONservative MP's open to "crossing the floor" or sitting as independents. Several Facebook groups I'm involved with are organizing email, letter and phone campaigns to CONservative MP's encouraging a split in the party. We may be going to an election sooner than anyone would expect.

I have been thinking that Trudeau should mention that their doors are open.

Check out the backlash against two CONservative Cabinet Ministers' negative remarks about Trudeau in the comments.

It would be nice if Trudeau mentioned anything. I haven't heard a peep out of him since he was annointed.

It would also appear the NDP has a few ethics problems.

I always thought that you need a warm, humid environment for a banana republic.
And I always thought you guys up north are kind of normal and the asylum ends at the US-Canadian border.

P. M. Harper is back in Ottawa but is a no-show for Question Period.
Reckon he's too chicken to face the music.
