Switching for the moment to a different realm, I see the NHL strike as doing enormous damage to hockey generally ~ apparently the "powers that be" didn't learn anything from the damage done by the MLB strike a number of years ago ~ numbers for many MLB teams have still not returned to where they were pre-strike ~
