Updated and Expanded List of 212 Obama Accomplishments, With Citations! This list of accomplishments has never been simply about getting the President a second term. This guy is going to leave a legacy, and it is starting to look like a really good one. I know some progressives consider him a "disappointment," but these are folks who are looking for that unicorn. They like to put pressure on Blue Dogs and in the process help the right wing Republicans win election after election.
If we want to win elections - and this is a democracy, so that should always be your main goal - we have to make people want to vote for us. That means accentuating the positive, and talking Obama laughing about how great we are, compared to the alternative. That's what this list is about. It's about focusing on the good things Obama and the Democrats have done, and daring Republicans to come up with their own list. The 112th Congress was the least productive in history, and it occurred during an economic recovery. If we can't make ourselves look better than that, then we're pathetic. We have to stop being pathetic.
Is Obama perfect? No, he's human. Does he deserve some criticism? Of course. But does he deserve the level of criticism that's been leveled at him? Hell no.

Then note that a large proportion of these accomplishments came with a Democratic Congress, and if they want more, they'll have to help him achieve it.
