I am left handed. Did you know that lefties make up about 10% of the population, but male homosexuals are about one third (31%) more likely than heterosexuals to be left-handed, while lesbians are almost twice as likely (91%) to be left-handed as heterosexual women.

My Mom was a "southpaw". She always said "You are either left-handed or crazy!" lol

In the past, parents and teachers would try to force right-handedness on children who were left handed. It was seen as "evil" the same way homosexuality is percieved by some. Many people think one can force heterosexuality too.

Jeez, now I find out I'm a psychopathic lesbian lefty. That explains everything.

When I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade, or thereabouts, my mom noticed that I was doing my homework with my right hand (and not being able to write very well). My mom knew I was left-handed, of course, so she asked, "Why are you using your right hand?"

I replied, "My teacher told me I need to use my right hand."

My mom grew furious and the next day marched with me into the classroom and told the teacher that I am left-handed and how dare she try to force me to use my right hand!

The teacher was all shook up.

After my mom left the teacher asked me, "Which hand do you want to use to write with?"

I said, "My left hand."

The teacher just shugged and walked away.

I was just a little kid, but I remember that whole incident.

Way to go, Mom!!

Ninety percent of people are right handed. The rest of us are perfect.
