That was kinda/sorta my guess ~ I know your kidlet has wide-ranging interests and talents ~ but I'm thinking that kidlets don't have the long perspective of how amazing these feats really are ~ they see many advances as the "norm" ~

My maternal grandmother was born in 1896 ~ not long before she died at age 94 many years ago, I asked her what was the greatest/most surprising achievement during her lifetime ~ without hesitating, she said "airplanes" ~ her answer put things into perspective for me because airplanes/air travel was a "norm" for me ~
