5 Bands?

Hmmm. This is highly subject to change (even in the next 5 minutes when I think of someone else).

The Eagles - My favorite live band concert
The Beatles - Day after day, alone on the hill the man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still
The Moody Blues - Nights in white satin, never reaching the end,
Led Zepplin - There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
Heart - Crazy on you!!!!!!

Think Of One; belgian/brazillian band
Eric Dolphy; avant garde jazz: EXTREME
R. Stevie Moore; the greatest home recording artist ever
Thelonius Monk; more avant garde jazz, but different than dolphy

edited for the uninitiated

It doesn't matter. I was answering band. Whitney and Barbra would be on my "artist" list.

bands would be way way harder for me.

probably (rather than the three individuals listed):

ween; US pop torture artists
blamblamblam; New Zealand post rocck
the pop group; British post rock/punk

Ha ha ha- for me the list changes every week! And with every activity.

So, just for today:

Wyclef Jean
Indigo Girls
Eminem
K'Naan
Counting Crows

( tomorrow might include the Marley family, Stravinsky, Dropkick Murphys, Rolling Stones, Miles Davis, Billie Holliday, Jack Teagarden, Madame Butterfly, the soundtrack from The Descendants, Pere Ubu, Fela Kuti, and I love LA Punk form the 80s.

I can't pick 5, sorry. I tried, but it's too hard.

I don't know most of Mac's but he likes alternative stuff.

Queen is definitely more rap-friendly than I am.

When I couldn't sleep last night, I was thinking about this thread....... :eyes

I can list my one, for sure, absolute choice.

John Denver Nothing sweeter than "For Baby (Bobby)". All of his other music is smooth and sweet. Makes me feel mellow and happy.

Queen! There has to be room for Queen too- it's been hard to live without Freddie Mercury these last many years already.

In no particular order:

Pink Floyd
Boston
?
?
?

I picked the first two because I like almost every song they recorded.... meaning I could put both of the groups music catalogs on shuffle and listen to the songs the rest of my life. I might add to the list of two in the future. :)

I don't get mad at the people, I get mad at the situation!
