Today starts the cuts to the SNAP program. Millions will be in greater distress and possibly go hungry. Those millions will go to food banks, that have tried to prepare for this onslaught, but their supplies are finite.

I am heartbroken. NO ONE in the United States of American should go hungry. NO ONE. It's unconscionable. I don't care how many defraud the system. The politicians scam one system or another all the time and no one is taking that away from them.

Let me put it another way. The same people who don't care if there is collateral damage in wars, who don't care if an innocent man is put to death because they call it "for the greater good" are the ones who voted to do this. The same people who act like they give a rat's ass about unborn babies, yet take food out of the mouths of the ones already born. How "christian" of them.............

I agree 100% with you, roseanne ~ it definitely is "unconscionable" ~ it's also truly and deeply and morally evil in my view ~ what most enrages me is that that truly and deeply and morally evil is an intentionally cruel and 100% unnecessary choice by some forced on others to endure ~

err on the side of feeding one too many or err on the side of feeding one too few ------ that's the basic difference between most republicans and most democrats, imo
