roseanne, the reviews on Amazon seemed somewhat "iffy" at best to me ~ I love gadgets and have many that I have no clue what they are for ~ but I'd be happy to order this from Amazon and mail it to you if you still want one ~ just let me know ~

Thanks for the offer sooz, but not necessary. It's not a "make or break" gadget for me. I understand though. Kitchen gadgets are great! I have several that I may only use once a year, but am grateful for them every time.

My sensitive new age hubby and son both cook and peel potatoes. They are cute and nice, too.

Speaking of kitchen gadgets, I found this slide show of useless ones today. I disagree about the holder for pop bottles. As a person with small hands, I would like it. For people with arthritis, it could come in handy too. I don't drink pop, but I would love something like it for a 2L milk carton.
