Last Saturday here.
Now I'm either going to head to warmer climes or hibernate. ;)

The ground is all white outside, for some reason.

We won't get the white stuff but we will have freezing temps for two nights. I think the average first freeze here is Dec 2.

We got about 1" of snow last night, but my mom [who lives maybe 20 miles northwest of me] said they had a few inches of snow on the ground ~ the problem here is that a cold front went thru, dropping the temps from the mid 40s to the mid 20s overnight ~ the fast falling temps combined with the wet snow created "black ice" on the roads [during evening rush hour!], which accounted for a big increase in minor accidents ~

Sun is shining this morning, temps forecast for mid 30s ~ but weather reports still caution about "slippery areas" ~ here's the kicker: long range forecast is touting mid-50s by end of week ~

My phone knows everything about the weather!!!! LOL!

It's 39 and drizzling here; snowing in Philly, sunny in Chicago and poor, poor Gramps.

The good news is this weekend all of us are in the 50s.

I think it looks beautiful, john. Our trees never got to that pretty orange/red shade.
