SciFi, your pictures remind me of years ago when I was in Hawaii about 10 days before Christmas ~ I laughed out loud at the surreal experience of seeing palm trees decorated with strands of holiday lights while eating/drinking in outdoor cafes and being dressed in shorts/swimsuits ~ :b

The "traditional" Christmas dinner here is now more likely to be a seafood or a ham salad, usually washed down with a number of "cold ones".

Alas, my dietary restriction means "nevermore" for me (as the raven quoth).

I found this on another board. I find it hilarious! A great sarcastic commentary on today's digital world.

Sooz edit: Ldy, I deleted your link because we can only post pictures from a public site, NOT from albums saved on our own computers ~ we are open to read, and I didn't want to give hackers whatever they need to hack ~ check your PMs [upper left corner, above our header] ~

Ldybroker, your image isn't displaying for us. You can't code to an image on your own computer, it has to be hosted on the Internet.

Did you know that people are most depressed on the holidays? Anyone here depressed on Christmas?

We spend so much time and energy building up the holiday, that for those us like me, who are alone on Christmas, it's depressing.

Seems like it's a requirement that you're supposed to be with family and friends and have fun. But what if you're alone?

Every Christmas it's the same for me. Brother and his family are off in Hawaii, friends are with their families, and I'm here on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, alone.

But at least I have my two dogs to keep me company. :)

Merry Grinchmas, everyone!
