Naked Man Rescued From Washing Machine After Firefighters Lubricate Him With Olive Oil

A naked man has been rescued by firefighters after becoming stuck in a top-loading washing machine.

The unnamed man from Victoria, Australia told crews he had been planning to surprise his girlfriend when he became trapped, The Australian reported.

The 20-year-old was popped free of his confines after he was greased with olive oil

Another officer cautioned against misusing household equipment.

"My advice would be for people not to climb into appliances - obviously that [can] cause a number of issues, as we've seen on the weekend," the Australian Broadcasting Corporation quoted First Constable Luke Ingram as saying.
