Thanks! Had a rough Sunday, continuing into today. Major sewer back up yesterday. Worn out from running around, didn't sleep well and already had a good cry this morning when youngest sent videos of the grands singing to me. I miss them and it's been over a year now.
Hubby is congested so not feeling well at all.

Basically I'm having a little pity party. :b I'll cheer up later and this helps. :D Need a drink later...... :smokin

Happy Birthday, Roseanne. I hope your day gets a lot better. Are you at the stage yet when you count your age in Canadian years or the discounted American years. I keep telling people I'm only 39 American.

LOL, jim ~ at 59, my dad used to say he was "39 plus a few months" ~ first time ever in my recollection that 240 equaled "a few" anything! ~ :b

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

lol jim. 61 and damn proud of it. I've earned every wrinkle and grey hair, just NOT the freaking hair that insists on growing on my face now. :angry LOL!

Chaos, I'm limited to one now days. Can't handle more, so go ahead and have the ones I can't. Salute!

I know, gramps. That's why I appreciate my age right now because now is all we have.

My brothers, who turned 67 and 69 this year tease me about being old. I remind them that I am still younger than they are. Ha!

I'm doing it very slowly.
If I get the timing right I'll pop with a smile. Meanwhile, we have hockey and Harper-bashing.

Thanks Cannalee and queenie!

lol, I still haven't had that drink. :( Work too busy, hubby too sick and now I think I'm coming down with the same thing. I've had about 7-10 hours sleep the last 3 nights combined. Sigh.

As soon as I get a chance, I'm going to treat myself to a small bottle of either Jamesons, Crown Royal or Maker's Mark. Or....maybe Carolan's Irish Cream. MUCH better than Bailey's. More of a whiskey punch, less sweetness. Anticipation is part of the fun! lolol

Thanks Kathy. Hubby gave me his chest congestion as a gift. :angry Nice, eh? :rollin

This is the sickest I've been in about 14 years. The last time I was really sick, I had the flu for 2 days in 2000. Tamiflu to the rescue!

I've did have some laryngitis not associated with a cough or fever once. That's it. I was just bragging about that fact the other day..............probably jinxed myself. :b

roseanne, have you or hubby tried any of the OTC Mucinex products? ~ they are all a bit more expensive than other OTCs, but I found them to work best for me ~

Can't get it here and not sure about it's safety re: my high BP. Hubby is happy with his Dayquil/Nyquil. I take Tylenol for the headache/achiness and slight fever. I'll be fine. Mine is a "loose" cough.

Blue mucinex is a good expectorant for patients with High Blood Pressure. That's what the doctor's prescribe for her.

Good to know Kathy! Thanks. :D Maybe I'll buy some the next time we go down south if it has a long enough expiry date.
