Those are all great!

I sort of understand how this happens. With my first, after loading all the crap required for a first trip out of town with her, we almost forgot HER!! She was sleeping peacefully in her crib and we were distracted by trying to remember all the crap. Just sayin'. Parents are a lot more distracted these days.

edited to add: Kids are always loaded in last so they are not left alone in a car as you load in other stuff.

Never forgot kids but left wife behind at the mall a couple of times.

And it was an accident. Really it was.

Actually, it was accidental but was she ever pissed. We're divorced but now we're friends and laugh about it.

We understand. That's your story and you're sticking to it.

You betcha. Will actually be seeing the ex next week.

Hubby, who never drove baby to day care, had to pinch hit for me one day. He drove up the ramp onto the highway like he did everyday, out of habit. About 10 minutes up the road he was wondering what the strange noise in the backseat was. Luckily he realized it was the light snore of his sleeping baby! It can happen to anyone.
