A fairly long article so I will just post a link.

He makes some interesting points, such as how we (the U.S.) helped created many of the problems in the Middle East we are now dealing with or how toddlers kill or wound more Americans in a typical year than terrorists.

I'll read this later for sure, but one quick note. Not only do more toddlers kill or wound people than terrorists, but more children are killed or wounded in the US by guns than by car accidents now. We've (they have) made cars safer and car seats to strict standards, yet still don't seem to be able to get a handle on gun control. Shameful.

After reading this the first time, which was a quick read at work, I have only one comment for now.

Regarding the secret documents, I do think that it is essential that the government keep some secrets. They always have. Citizens can not be trusted with all the truth, without knowing the "whys" and "wherefores" of any decision or action. I do think that after the fact, citizens should know what was done in their names because it is a "government of the people..........." , but I don't think we should be informed prior to or during any top secret decision/action. It's a fine line for me and more critical during modern times with covert operations surrounding terrorists.
