I imagine the Clintons will be blamed for this one too. Of course when some righty now says "Clinton - Vince Foster" we can say "Grabem - Jeffrey Epstein."

AG Barr is apparently very upset that such a thing could happen and has ordered a high powered DoJ investigation. Somewhere, there's some low level, assistant to an assistant associate deputy warden whose job is now in jeopardy.

Jake Tapper Tears Into Trump For Spreading ‘Deranged’ Conspiracy Theories
By Cristina Cabrera / August 11, 2019 11:04 am

CNN reporter Jake Tapper blasted President Donald Trump on Sunday after the President retweeted a baseless conspiracy theory about accused child molester Jeffrey Epstein’s apparent suicide.

Tapper kicked off his morning program, “State of the Union,” with a contemptuous speech on Trump’s penchant for boosting conspiracy theories, including his retweet on Saturday night that linked Epstein’s death to Bill Clinton.

“We begin this morning with a retweet from the President of the United States,” Tapper said. “Not a message about healing or uniting the country, one week after two horrifying massacres, not about the victims of those tragedies.”

“Instead, President Trump, using his massive Twitter platform, 63 million followers, to spread a deranged conspiracy theory tying the death of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in prison to the President’s former political rivals, the Clintons,” he continued.

After listing off various other unfounded conspiracy theories Trump has floated in the past, including birtherism and billionaire George Soros funding an immigrant invasion at the border, Tapper hit Trump for misusing his powerful influence as the country’s leader.

“President Trump could use his megaphone for anything,” the reporter said. “But the President often uses it to amplify that which is the worst of us: personal attacks, bigotry, and insane conspiracy theories.”

Tapper wrapped it up with one final declaration: “This is no longer just irresponsibility and indecent. It is dangerous.”

Predicting Grabem and cabal would blame the Clintons. They had to in order to divert attention from their own possible complicity in the matter. Let's face it, with Grabem's close acquaintanceship with Epstein, his prior knowledge that Epstein "like them young" (how do you get that knowledge without having been there), the pervs' own sexual history, his connections to dark agencies like the CIA and the Mafia provides him with both the motive and method to get the job done. Having his "appalled" bum buddy AG looking around for some low level functionary to put the blame on is just icing on the cake.

See my post #20 above. July 25 I started with the conspiracy theory chatter, and the ink wasn't dry on the death certificate before my crazy Facebook friends were blaming Hillary Clinton.

Guess who retweeted one of them.

The president of the United States this weekend promoted a conspiracy theory alleging that the family of his 2016 election opponent was involved in a high-profile death that had been ruled a suicide. He was doing this for the second time.

President Trump’s retweeting of a Jeffrey Epstein conspiracy theory looks a whole lot like when he trafficked in a similar conspiracy about Clinton White House aide Vince Foster’s suicide.

Screenshot via Twitter (Screenshot/Twitter)
“#JeffreyEpstein had information on Bill Clinton and & now he’s dead,” Terrence K. Williams tweeted, appending the hashtag #ClintonBodyCount before having his tweet elevated by Trump.

This is one of the biggest conspiracy theories Trump has ever elevated, but it’s hardly the only one. Below are 22 others. Trump didn’t technically espouse each and every one, but he elevated all of them — no matter how specious and/or ridiculous.

I was thinking along the same lines. trump always accuses others of what he is guilty of so, I have a feeling he may be knee deep in this and wants to nip it in the bud by deflecting. I was also surprised how Barr pounced on this out of the blue. Considering his father was connected to Epstein and his devotion to trump, it makes me wonder if he is doing it to show his impartiality or what I feel more plausible - he wants to get a handle on it all to protect himself and his benefactor.

EPSTEIN SEX TRAFFICKING VICTIM: 'Prince Andrew belongs in jail'
Brad Hunter

Image
From left, Prince Andrew, one of Epstein's underage sex slaves Virginia Roberts and his alleged procurer, socialite Ghislaine Maxwell. Roberts claims Andrew and Epstein took part in an orgy with nine underage girls at the financier's Caribbean compound.

One of Jeffrey Epstein’s former underage sex slaves is insisting that the plush pervert’s pal, Prince Andrew, “should go to jail”.

Virginia Roberts conceded to 60 Minutes Australia that she didn’t think the royal, known as “Randy Andy,” will ever see the inside of a jail cell.

“Prince Andrew should go to jail,” she told the program. “I mean, is he ever going to? Probably not.”

Roberts fell into Epstein’s orbit when she was 15 and was kept as a sex slave for years.

The perverted billionaire kept Roberts in his massive $56-million, New York City mansion that Roberts called her “jail.”

Her interview comes hot on the heels of bombshell revelations that ABC News killed a story exposing the well-connected Epstein.

Prince Andrew was also on the menu but reported pressure from the Royal Family scuttled the story.

Epstein, 66, either killed himself — or was murdered — in his Manhattan jail cell in August while facing a slew of sex trafficking charges.

Andrew has denied Roberts’ claims that he had underage sex with her several times, including at an island orgy at Epstein’s compound the Caribbean.

Pals of the prince have unleashed a PR campaign in recent days, suggesting widely published photos of Andrew and Roberts had been doctored.

Roberts scoffed at the claims.

“Oh, the chubby fingers, I know,” she said. “This is a real photo. That is Andrew. It’s been since given to the FBI and they’ve never contested that it’s a fake.”

She added: “Only one of us is telling the truth. And it will come out.”

Roberts’ lawyer, David Boies, said the Duke of York “can’t hide forever,” adding that if he plans to come to the U.S., he should be “prepared to testify”.

“There are many, many people that have serious culpability and I expect a number of them will be prosecuted,” Boies told the New York Post.

Roberts said Epstein forced her to “have sex with the elite of the world.”

“I was trafficked to other billionaires. I was trafficked to other politicians,” she said. “They should be named and they should be shamed. What they’ve done is horrific.”

That "serious dirt" didn't protect Epstein did it?

Epstein's alleged pimp convinced 'serious dirt' on rich will protect her

Brad Hunter

Jeffrey Epstein and the socialite accused of being his sexual procurer, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Ghislaine Maxwell the socialite and alleged pimp for pedophile predator Jeffrey Epstein believes she has so much “serious dirt” on the rich and powerful she’ll skate on any charges.

For more than two decades, the British party girl was constantly at Epstein’s side, first as his girlfriend, then as his kept madam.

Epstein died mysteriously in a New York jail last August but the fallout from his vile machinations has not peaked.

A number of the twisted financier’s underage victims are claiming it was Maxwell who lured them into Epstein’s sick orbit.

Image
Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged procurer of underage girls, Ghislaine Maxwell, was snapped by the New York Post in California. The photo was allegedly staged. She is now in hiding. NEW YORK POST

A pal told The UK Sun, that Maxwell — whose father was disgraced press baron Robert Maxwell — is “totally convinced” she’ll get off.

“Ghislaine and her sister Isabel remain totally convinced that she’ll escape any criminal convictions and will eventually clear the family name and return to high society once the dust has settled,” pal Laura Goldman told the newspaper.

“She has wealthy connections who hide her and even pay some legal fees. She can stay out of the public eye as long as she wants.”

Maxwell, 57, is reportedly being hidden by rich pals. It was Maxwell who introduced the beleaguered Prince Andrew and U.S. President Donald Trump to the oily Epstein.

“Ghislaine is so confident that she’ll be back that she’s still texting friends in different social circles while she’s in hiding,” Goldman said. “She’s doesn’t think that she did anything wrong.

“She obviously has some serious dirt on someone to be so sure of herself in the circumstances.”

But the “sex-obsessed” Maxwell — who a number of Epstein victims claim took part in the sex abuse — may be in for a surprise.

According to Dominique Penson — a partner at Barasch McGarry Salzman & Penson — who has represented hundreds of sex abuse survivors a change in New York State law could sink Maxwell like her crooked father.

“She has a lot of problems, depending on what the victims say about her involvement and how old they were at the time,” Penson told the Toronto Sun.

Penson said NY State changed the statute of limitations on sex crimes to cover more kinds of abuse.

Now, sex crimes go back 20 years from the date the abuse was first reported to cops.

“If she was involved in the sex trafficking, she would be charged under federal statutes, likely as an accessory but there are different degrees whether it’s rape, sodomy or sexual assault,” Penson said.

“The thing that makes her case fraught is the change in the law. Times have changed and she can now be charged with a myriad of things.”

The legal eagle added that Maxwell is smart to keep out of the public eye.

“With her notoriety, she should keep out of the public eye. But the problem for her is that it’s not going to get better,” Penson said, adding that the sexual abuse of kids is “repulsive.”

He added: “In the end, there’s really nothing she could say or do. But any defence lawyer worth his or her salt will tell her to name names,” he said.

“There’s nothing else she can offer.”

Curiouser and curiouser ....

Jeffrey Epstein: Jail CCTV erased by 'technical errors'

Surveillance video from disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein's first suspected suicide attempt was destroyed by accident, prosecutors say.

US prosecutors say the jail mistakenly saved footage from the wrong cell.

Epstein, a convicted sex offender, first tried to kill himself in July last year, then hanged himself in jail in August while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges.

He had pleaded not guilty to abusing dozens of girls, some as young as 14.

Soon after Epstein's death, in August, two of the CCTV cameras outside his cell had malfunctioned and were being examined by the FBI, US media reported.

Epstein was found semi-conscious in his prison cell with injuries to his neck on 25 July. After this incident, he was placed on suicide watch.

Eventually, Epstein was moved to a different cell, where he died on 10 August. Two prison guards have since been accused of failing to check on him during this time and falsifying records to say that they had.

There have been ongoing questions over the July recording, which was initially deemed missing and then was said to have been located by jail staff.

A letter filed by Assistant US Attorneys Jason Swergold and Maurene Comey said "the footage contained on the preserved video was for the correct date and time, but captured a different tier than the one where Cell-1 was located", New York City media report.

"The requested video no longer exists on the backup system and has not since at least August 2019 as a result of technical errors."

The request for the video was made by a lawyer for Nicholas Tartaglione, a former New York police officer who shared a cell with Epstein in July and is charged with homicide in an unrelated case.

The attorney argued the video could show his client had acted "admirably", possibly helping Epstein.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the BBC.

New York-born Epstein worked as a teacher before moving into finance. Prior to the criminal cases against him, he was best known for his wealth and high-profile connections.

He was often seen socialising with the rich and powerful, including US President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton and the UK's Prince Andrew.

Epstein was accused of paying girls under the age of 18 to perform sex acts at his Manhattan and Florida mansions between 2002-05. He was arrested on 6 July.

He avoided similar charges in a controversial deal in 2008, pleading guilty to a lesser charge of soliciting and procuring a minor for prostitution.

Anyone want to bet that Trump doesn't know him anymore?

Convicted Pedophile and ‘Globe-Trotting Fixer’ Tied to Top Trump Advisors Pleads Guilty to Child Sex Crimes

By David Badash

A lobbyist and convicted pedophile tied to current and past top-level Trump White House aides and transition team members has pleaded guilty to child sex crimes. George Nader, whose testimony was cited dozens of times in the Mueller Report, is expected to be sentenced to the mandatory minimum of ten years in jail, CNN reports.

Nader, who for over a decade was a known pedophile, has ties to Senior White House advisor Jared Kushner and former White House Chief Strategist and Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon. He also has ties to former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, who is also now a convicted felon. Nader is a former lobbyist for Blackwater founder Erik Prince, who happens to be Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos’ brother.

Courthouse News reports Nader was an “informal adviser to Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign” and says the charges included child sex trafficking and possessing child pornography.

In 2018 Business Insider reported Nader “serves as an adviser to the United Arab Emirates’ Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and attended two meetings with President Donald Trump’s associates that have invited intense FBI scrutiny.”

Also that year the Associated Press described Nader as a “Lebanese-American businessman, globe-trotting ‘fixer,’ [and] convicted child molester.”

Quote:
Nader joined a meeting at New York’s Trump Tower in December 2016 that brought together presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner, chief strategist Steve Bannon — fired by Trump last August — and Mohammed bin Zayed, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and de facto leader of the United Arab Emirates.

A second meeting occurred a month later in the Indian Ocean archipelago of Seychelles and involved Nader, bin Zayed, former Blackwater boss Erik Prince and Kirill Dmitriev, a Russian banker close to President Vladimir Putin.

The AP also reports on a connection between Nader and former RNC finance chairman Elliott Broidy.

PRINCE ANDREW: UK cops block probe into Epstein sex slaves

Brad Hunter

Image
That picture! From left, Prince Andrew, Virginia Roberts and socialite Ghislaine Maxwell. Roberts called her "diabolically evil".

British cops have thrown up a brick wall to protect Prince Andrew against allegations he had sex with an underage girl.

The Royal has been tied to the sickening antics of his pal, convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, and Epstein’s alleged pimp and longtime Andrew confidante, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Now, the UK establishment is circling the wagons around the beleaguered prince.

The London Daily Mirror filed a Freedom of Information Act as to the whereabouts of Andrew’s bodyguards in March 2001.

Accuser Virginia Roberts claimed she had sex with the prince at Maxwell’s London mansion.

But Andrew told the BBC in his disastrous interview that he could not have done it because he was eating pizza with one of his daughters at a restaurant outside London.

The tabloid wanted to check the veracity of that claim.

However, the Metropolitan Police shot down the newspaper’s request declaring it was a national security concern.

“Revealing locations from 19 years ago cannot possibly reveal personal data, either directly or indirectly,” anti-monarchist Graham Smith told the Mirror.

“The police are tasked with protecting the royals from physical harm, not from legitimate inquiry, criminal investigation or embarrassment.”

Roberts, who is originally from Florida teenager, was lured into Epstein’s sick orbit when she was just 15-years-old.

She claims she had sex with the prince on three occasions and that she was often sexually shared with Epstein’s pals.

Now living in Australia, she called Andrew’s alibi “lies after lies.”

She tweeted: “There could only be one reason the prince’s bodyguards would not (want) to expose where the prince had been on March 10th 2001- the night in question, bc he wasn’t at Woking Pizza with his daughter B (Princess Beatrice). Lies after lies- so frustrating!!”

Andrew has denied the allegations but has since been stripped of his royal duties.

Epstein, 66, who died mysteriously last summer in his New York jail cell while awaiting trial for sex trafficking, was well connected to the rich and powerful.

The two biggest targets of the investigation now are the prince and Maxwell.

Meanwhile, the government of the U.S. Virgin Islands said Wednesday they were suing the estate of Epstein, claiming the billionaire pedophile raped and sexually abused young girls at his private island hideaway.

Some were as young as 12.

The USVI say Epstein’s sex trafficking enterprise — from 2001 through 2018 — “facilitated … the sexual molestation and exploitation of numerous girls”. The lawsuit is seeking the forfeiture of those two islands, which are worth an estimated $86 million.

Worried that he'll end up like Epstein??

Prince Andrew Has 'Provided Zero Cooperation' To The Jeffrey Epstein Inquiry, Says US Prosecutor
Geoffrey Berman said the Duke of York’s lawyers had been contacted by prosecutors and the FBI.

By Jasmin Gray

vid at source

Prince Andrew has “provided zero cooperation” to the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking inquiry, a US prosecutor has said.

US attorney Geoffrey Berman said the Duke of York’s lawyers had been contacted by prosecutors and the FBI who requested to interview him as part of the investigation.

But Berman – who is overseeing the investigation – said: “To date, Prince Andrew has provided zero cooperation.”

Andrew stepped down from royal duties in November following a disastrous Newsnight interview in the wake of the scandal.

At the time he said: “I am willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency.”

Following the interview, he was accused of lacking empathy for Epstein’s victims and of failing to show regret over his friendship with the disgraced financier, who died in jail in August 2019.

Virginia Giuffre, who claims she was trafficked by Epstein, said in an interview with BBC Panorama that she was left “horrified and ashamed” after an alleged sexual encounter with Andrew in London in 2001.

She claimed she danced with Andrew in Tramp nightclub, adding he was “the most hideous dancer I’ve ever seen in my life” and “his sweat was [...] raining basically everywhere”.

Buckingham Palace is not commenting on the matter.

A source said: “This issue is being dealt with by the Duke of York’s legal team.”

Berman was speaking at an event to promote a new law that makes it easier for victims to sue over childhood abuse.

Before being asked about the duke, Berman confirmed the investigation was looking at possible “conspirators” who worked with Epstein.

He added: “Jeffrey Epstein couldn’t have done what he did without the assistance of others, and I can assure you that the investigation is moving forward.”

During his Newsnight interview, the duke said an alleged encounter with Giuffre in 2001 did not happen as he spent the day with his daughter, Princess Beatrice, taking her to Pizza Express in Woking for a party.

He also said he does not recall meeting Giuffre, and had a medical condition at the time, after suffering an overdose of adrenaline in the Falklands War when he was shot at, that meant he did not sweat.
