I wish I could post pictures on here. Last night I saw a Far Side type cartoon that really tickled me:

The picture showed an archeologist and a priest staring into an excavation. In the hole there was the skeleton of a T-Rex with a flying saucer clamped in its jaws. The priest says:

"Now this complicates things."

Here you go

Image

===============================

Right click on the pic in question - select "copy image address" (Depending on which browser you use it may say "copy image link" or something similar)

Come to here and click on "post reply" and then click on the blank area and then right click and select "paste". That should result in something like this appearing

https://i.imgur.com/dmR30On.jpeg

Depending on the site where you found the original picture it could be as short as this or it could be very long (as in multiple lines of text). Highlight the entire thing and then go to the boxes at the top of this panel and click on the one labelled "Img". That is all.

If you quote this post you'll see what it should look like (I did add the commands for centering the pic as well - those are optional)

Thanks, Shiftless. I've tried the copy and past before but not copy link. We'll see how that works. That is the one I wanted by the way.

THE RESOLUTION OF A MAN'S FEAR

He writes:

Ever since I was a child, I've always had a fear of someone under my bed at night.

So I went to a shrink and told him:

“I've got problems. Every time I go to bed I think there's somebody under it. I'm scared. I think I'm going crazy.”

"Just put yourself in my hands for one year," said the shrink.

"Come talk to me three times a week and we should be able to get rid of those fears.”

“How much do you charge?”

“One hundred fifty dollars per visit,” replied the doctor.

“I'll sleep on it,” I said.

Six months later the doctor met me on the street.

“Why didn't you come to see me about those fears you were having?” He asked.

“Well, $150 a visit, three times a week for a year, is $23,400.00. A bartender cured me for $10.00.

I was so happy to have saved all that money that I went and bought a new car.”

“Is that so?” With a bit of an attitude he said, “and how, may I ask, did a bartender cure you?”

“He told me to cut the legs off the bed. Ain't nobody under there now.”

It’s always better to get a second opinion.

The pic is off by a year. It was actually released on June 8, 1984.

The NILE Virus, type C
We are still battling the COVID-19 and the next thing is here already. Virologists have identified a new Nile virus - type C. It appears to target those who were born between 1930 & 1970.

Symptoms: Causes you

1. To send the same message twice.
2. To send a blank message.
3. To send a message to the wrong person.
4. To send it back to the person who sent it to you.
5. To forget to attach the attachment.
6. To hit SEND before you've finished.
7. To hit DELETE instead of SEND.
8. To SEND when you should DELETE.

It is called the C-NILE virus!

And if you cannot admit to doing the above, you have obviously caught the mutated strain — the D-NILE virus.
