An Elementary School Teacher had twenty-six students in her class. She presented each child the 1st half of a well-known proverb and asked them to come up with the remainder of the proverb. It's hard to believe these were actually done by first graders. Their insight may surprise you. While reading, keep in mind that these are first-graders, 6-year-olds, because the last one is a classic

6 Sunwing party plane passengers slapped with fines up to $5K, ‘more penalties’ coming
By Rachel Gilmore

Six passengers from the infamous Sunwing flight to Mexico that saw reality TV stars and influencers vape, sing and dance on board have been slapped with financial penalties.

Transport Minister Omar Alghabra announced on Tuesday that six revellers received “penalties” of up to $5,000 because they were not fully vaccinated when they boarded the flight to Cancun — but he did not disclose the exact amount of each of their fines.

“Certain behaviours reported in connection with the flight on December 30, 2021, are unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” Alghabra said in a press release.

“This is why Transport Canada took immediate action. Aviation rules must be respected by everyone, for the sake of everyone’s safety. Transport Canada will continue to investigate and issue all necessary penalties.”

The investigation into the flight is ongoing, the release went on to say, and “it is expected that more penalties will be issued in ...

The new fellow in the village goes into the pub, gets three pints from the barkeep, then sits down and drinks them, one at a time, and leaves.

Next week, same thing. The third week, he orders his three pints, and the barkeep says, "You know, you could just get one, and I would bring you the other two as you finish each one. They would be fresher."

"No, I'll take three. You see, when me brothers, Ian and Seamus, moved to America, we made a pact that we would always drink three beers, as if we were all still together."

"Aw, that's very sweet." So the bartender gives him his three beers.

This goes on for several months, until one day the fellow comes in and only gets two beers. The next week, same thing, he orders only two beers from the barkeep.

The barkeep says, "I just want you to know that the whole village shares your grief over the passing of your dear brother."
"What?"

"Well, you always order three beers, like you was still with your brothers, so when you started ordering two beers, we figured one of your brothers had passed."

"No, me brothers are fine. It's me who's given up drinking for Lent."

Sunwing party plane organizer challenges Canada's Transport Minister to a fight

Ty Jadah

The “Sunwing party plane” now has all the ingredients to be made into a movie after the organizer of the infamous flight has challenged Canada’s Minister of Transport to a fight.

Earlier this week, Minister Omar Alghabra announced a dozen more penalties in regards to the party plane, retroactive to the December flight from Montreal to Cancun that resulted in a full-scale media frenzy.

Currently, 24 infractions have been handed out to influencers and Instagrammers on the flight, ranging from fines for not wearing face masks to non-compliance with federal COVID-19 vaccine rules.

Without giving specific prices, Alghabra says each ...

Judging from the looks of the two of them, it would be more like a kitten fight than a cage battle to the death.
