Cars have hit demonstrators 104 times since George Floyd protests began

Dozens of people had gathered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for a third night of protests demanding justice for Breonna Taylor when a carbarreled through the crowd, hitting several protesters.

"It just went straight into the middle of the crowd and veered off toward the left," said Samantha Colombo, 25, an Albuquerque resident who said they've been protesting with dozens of other people for three nights at the same intersection. No one appeared to be injured, Colombo said. Video of the incident began to circulate on Twitter on Friday.

"For the first two nights, the police blocked off the streets. Today they did not, so we had a couple cars blocking the streets for us and people lining up their bikes," Colombo said. "There was this one car that for a few minutes was just beeping for a minute or so straight, so a few people went up to the car to get them to move, and they eventually just ...

How often has the vehicle been attacked by a mob when the driver hasn't made a conscious decision to drive into the crowd?

If it's anything like the Vancouver riots, probably most of the time. Mobs surround cars, smash windows and set fire to cars that are just sitting in the street trying to figure out where to go.

How do you get 738,000 records regarding two guys? I doubt there's that many records for the assassination of JFK.

I keep a close eye on Louisville. I have also read that the police don't investigate reports of rape and basically tell victims that they will not be successful in prosecutions so they don't even bother.

And another one

The death of Ronald Greene after a police chase in Louisiana in 2019 has come under new scrutiny after body camera footage was published that appears to show a starkly different version of events than the one given by the police. Here’s what we know.

What We Know About Ronald Greene’s Death
The Louisiana State Police said Mr. Greene died in 2019 from crashing his S.U.V. during a police chase, but video footage shows troopers shocking, choking and beating him.

The death of Ronald Greene after a police chase in Louisiana in 2019 is attracting new scrutiny after the publication of police body camera footage that appears to show a starkly different version of events than the one given by the Louisiana State Police.

Days after The Associated Press published more than two minutes of footage from the encounter, the state police released what it said was all of the related video. A lawyer for the Greene family said the footage had been shown to Mr. Greene’s mother and sister last fall.

The death is under investigation by the F.B.I. and other federal agencies, and Mr. Greene’s family has filed a wrongful-death lawsuit accusing the state police of covering up the cause of his death.

Here’s what we know about the case.

Who was Ronald Greene?

Mr. Greene was ...

Anyone want to guess what verdict the judge wants?

Men shot by Kyle Rittenhouse cannot be called ‘victims’ in court, judge rules
But defense attorneys may call them ‘arsonists’ or ‘looters’ judge says ahead of contentious trial over fatal shooting of two men

A prosecutor says Kyle Rittenhouse was ‘the only person who killed anyone’ in Kenosha unrest.

Kyle Rittenhouse’s homicide trial began Tuesday morning with a prosecutor portraying the teenager as a tourist who inserted himself into fiery unrest in Kenosha last year and initiated the confrontation that led him to shoot three men, killing two of them.

“Like moths to a flame, tourists from outside our community were drawn to the chaos,” said Thomas Binger, an assistant district attorney, in his opening statement.

Mr. Binger pointed to Mr. Rittenhouse as he said, “The evidence will show that the only person who killed anyone was the defendant, Kyle Rittenhouse.”

Mr. Rittenhouse, who was 17 and living in Antioch, Ill., at the time of the shootings, faces charges including ...

How is this even possible?

Kyle Rittenhouse found not guilty on all counts in trial over Kenosha shootings

Kyle Rittenhouse has been acquitted of all charges after pleading self-defence in the deadly Kenosha, Wis., shootings that became a flashpoint in the nation's debate over guns, vigilantism and racial injustice.

oskar, he's a white male. Period.

I wish I could find the meme I saw yesterday. It's depicts a white police officer holding down an unarmed black man face down as a white man walks by with automatic weapons. The office is waving the white man on.
