Even if he does resign don't think we've seen the last of him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn up as a contender for the 2024 GOP ticket.

Where were my A-listers? Trump is 'livid' at Biden's star-studded inauguration line-up of Lady Gaga, Tom Hanks and Jennifer Lopez as Field of Flags is lit up on National Mall and President packs his bags for Florida

Joe Biden's inauguration on Wednesday will feature Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, and Tom Hanks at the show

Donald Trump is furious that Biden has attracted such star-power, it is claimed in The Washington Post

The paper said that Trump has been particularly upset by the line-up despite all the chaos of the month

Trump's own inauguration was memorable for those who pulled out of the show including Elton John, the Dixie Chicks and Garth Brooks

Security for Wednesday's event will be incredibly tight with 25,000 National Guard troops - twice as many as previously deployed for other inaugurations

Organizers of Trump Rally Had Been on Campaign’s Payroll
By Bill Allison

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign paid more than $2.7 million over two years to individuals and firms that organized the Jan. 6 rally that led to rioters storming the U.S. Capitol, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

The payments, which span Trump’s re-election campaign, show an ongoing financial relationship between the rally’s organizers and Trump’s political operation. They were all made through Nov. 23, the most recent date covered by Federal Election Commission filings, which is before the rally was publicly announced.

Eight paid Trump campaign officials were named on the permit issued on by the National Park Service for the rally, including Maggie Mulvaney, the niece of Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s former chief of staff who resigned his position as special envoy to Northern Ireland after the riot. Maggie Mulvaney was paid $138,000 by the campaign through Nov. 23.

After the rally, in which the president encouraged them to march on the Capitol, Trump supporters stormed the building, disrupting the count of Electoral College votes in an event that ultimately killed five people. Lawmakers and Vice President Mike Pence, who was presiding over what is normally a ceremonial event, were forced to flee.

The Associated Press first reported the ...

.......or is it the reddest State in the Union. Maybe it's the bluest and only appears to be red. Maybe their election should be thrown out and Democrats appointed to take their place.

I believe the long running wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are responsible for some of the problems in the police. So many people have been to war. Many come back and choose policing for their civilian careers. Police departments recruit them and many offer preferences for military service. In training for combat conditions people are indoctrinated to see others as "the enemy" and to dehumanize them in order to be able to commit violence against them, "when necessary". They take this with them into policing. They find like minded people in supremacist groups and are drawn toward them- the people, at first, not necessarily the groups. It puzzles me why so many veterans are among the people who claim to love their country but hate their government. Anyway, we would be better off if there were fewer people who had combat training running around society with weapons. We've created a lot of them in the past 20 years.
