SPEECHLESS. 3,000 plus Americans are dying every day, and Trump says NOTHING... oh, but he's VERY concerned that Melania didn't get enough fashion magazine covers?!

Trump slams US fashion magazines for not giving Melania a single cover shoot while he has been in office

Bill Bostock

President Donald Trump has criticized glossy US magazines for not offering his wife Melania Trump a single cover shoot while he has been in office.

Trump on Friday retweeted a Breitbart post that said "elitist snobs in the fashion press" were snubbing the "most elegant First Lady in American history."

Trump wrote that the First Lady was "the greatest of all time" and labelled the magazines "Fake News"

President Donald Trump has bashed leading US lifestyle magazines for not giving his wife, Melania Trump, a single front page cover while he has been in office.

In a tweet on Friday, Trump called the First Lady "the greatest of all time," while retweeting a Breitbart post that said "elitist snobs in the fashion press" were ostracizing the "most elegant First Lady in American history."

"Fake News!," Trump added.

Quote:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

The greatest of all time. Fake News!

Trump fans have long noticed and lamented the absence of the First Lady from US news stands, and often accused the US press of revealing their liberal bias by granting Michelle Obama, the wife of former president Barack Obama, 12 magazine covers in her two terms as First Lady, including three Vogue covers.

"If you need any further proof of the shameless bias of the liberal mainstream media, the most stunning First Lady in American history has never graced our nation's major style magazine covers," US actor and Trump supporter James Woods tweeted in February 2020.

Several leading fashion magazines have taken a political stance over the president, most notably Vogue.

In an April 2019 interview with CNN, Vogue editor Anna Wintour said: "You have to stand up for what you believe in and you have to take a point of view."

However, Melania Trump drew criticism from Vogue readers and magazine publishers in February this year over comments she made during a leaked private phone call about Wintour's decision to let Beyoncé guest-edit an issue of the magazine.

"Anna gave the September issue of Vogue cover — complete, complete, complete, everything — to Beyoncé," the First Lady said on the July 2018 call, leaked to NBC.

"She hired Black photographer. And it's the first Black photographer ever doing cover of Vogue."

The president himself has also expressed his personal distaste some for TIME Magazine, who each year name the "Person of the Year."

TIME named Trump as "Person of the Year" in 2016, but the president took issue with the magazine's choice of Greta Thunberg for the 2019 award issue.

Why doesn't he just fake a few covers for his office wall? After all, he's done it before with Time magazine.

most elegant First Lady in American history?

what?

first ladies are routinely ranked by fashion mags.
Melania usu comes in around 7th, just below Michele Obama.
Jackie Kennedy is generally ranked in the top 3.

his myopia is overpowering.

To be honest, I'm surprised that Melania ranks that high on the list.

Sure she's got a lot of money to spend on clothes but even with that she still looks like a plastic statue. BTW, her look today is a far cry from her early days modelling

Let's see, Melania wears a grungy looking jacket that says "I don't care! Do you?" to visit caged children who have been ripped away from their parents and may never see them again because her husband didn't bother having his minions tracked who belonged to who, and then he claims she has enough class for a magazine cover. Let's face it. If it wasn't for the plastic Barbie sculpting she'd be playing hackey sac with her tits. Right now she's just terrified Grabem will take a look and decide she's not his type anymore. She's too old and decrepit and not worthy of the family gravy train.

I just realized something. please comment if you think I am wrong.

why does Trump even CARE? it is not HIM that is on the magazines. it is Melania. if Melania doesn't care, WHY SHOULD HE?

is it because he views her as his property, and therefore an extension of himself in the physical sense? is it because he knows he is ugly, but he has purchased a beautiful accessory, and wishes everyone to notice that and appreciate it?

or am I reading too much into this?

I don't think you are. Also, because Michelle Obama is so well liked and respected and had a cover - it pisses him off. He thinks he is the best and by extension his pick of Melania has to be too. IMO that is the extent of his caring or feeling for her - how she makes him look, and how she makes him feel the bedroom. Have to give her credit though, must be hard to keep from laughing and/or being repulsed while stroking his ego.

From Stormy Daniels:

Quote:
[Daniels]described the future president’s penis as “smaller than average” but “not freakishly small,” with a “huge mushroom head … like a toadstool.” She added, “I lay there, annoyed that I was getting fucked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a dick like the mushroom character in Mario Kart.”

Daniels also wrote of the Trump experience, “It may have been the least impressive sex I’ve ever had, but clearly he didn’t share that opinion.”

Meanwhile, Melania has to feed his ego

Quote:
Melania Trump defended the size of Donald Trump's manhood to teasing friends, insisting that he is a 'real man', according to a new book obtained by DailyMail.com.

The future First Lady admonished close friends when they joked Trump must have a small penis because he has small hands, and cut in to retort: 'Don't say this - he's a real man.'

I know some of you are hurting, in desperate economic straits, suffering from COVID, etc, but no matter how bad it is for you personally, it's important to remember Melania Trump isn't getting the recognition she deserves from fashion magazines. Stonekettle.

Melania Trump is as delusional as her husband if she thinks that this is the reason for the perceived slight from Vogue.

COVER ENVY: Melania dishes on why she thinks she never got a Vogue cover as First Lady

VINNIE LONGOBARDO

It’s difficult to find an iota of pity for Melania Trump.

After all, no one forced her to marry one of the most reviled men on the planet or kept her in the marriage after Donald Trump proved to be the most dishonest and seditious president in American history.

Still, the folks at Fox News seem to believe that the liberal media at Vogue magazine have terribly wronged the former soft-core porn model because the influential fashion publication never featured Melania on the cover during her time as the First Lady.

The sycophantic Fox & Friends interviewer Pete Hegseth asked Melania a question that is apparently burning consciousnesses in MAGA-land during her first televised interview since exiting the White House and returning to civilian life:

Quote:
“With your business background, and your fashion background, and your beauty, never on the cover of Vogue?”

The level of invented outrage here is extremely high, especially given the fact that Melania was in fact invited to do a photoshoot for Vogue while she was still First Lady, but, according to her former senior aide Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Melania blew off the request, refusing to appear in the magazine at all unless they guaranteed her the cover spot.

Never mind the fact that Melania’s marriage to Donald Trump was once a feature on the cover of the fashion bible. Unless Vogue editor Anna Wintour was willing to cede her control over the decision about who should be featured on the publication’s cover, Melania didn’t want anything to do with a photoshoot.

With a leading question like Hegseth’s, it’s no wonder that Melania fully took the bait and responded with an answer so dripping with sour grapes she needed little effort to pucker her lips in resting a duck-face pose.

Quote:
Ron Filipkowski @RonFilipkowski

In first interview since leaving the WH, Melania is asked, “With your business background, and your fashion background, and your beauty, never on the cover of Vogue?”
A - “They’re biased .. I had much more important things to do .. in the WH than be on the cover of Vogue.”

Stormy Daniels never made the cover of Vogue either, but they do have a common denominator...the rest is haggling over the price.
