I remember when the Sears "outlet" in my hometown was a tiny little catalogue store. It wasn't until many years later that they opened a store in one of the local malls. An anchor store at that. Now long gone.

Ironic that we've gone from catalogue store (Sears) to catalogue store (Amazon).

A shame. Sears was a staple for many years.

I couldn't WAIT for that Christmas Wish Book to come out every year, even though I knew wishing was about all I'd get out of it. LOL

I used to like their appliances. Kenmore washers and dryers had great reputations.
