If the gun culture wasn't so f$*king sick it would make good comedy show.

Police gave the shooter a full hour with the fourth grade class. Parents listened to their children dying and police assulted the parents who couldn't stand it.

This video make so much more sense now. The cops literally stopped parents from helping their kids.

The more we learn about the massacre at Uvalde school, the more we are learning the police lied about every single relevant detail: they lied the shooter had body armor, they lied about their heroism, they lied about how many children died, they lied, they lied, they lied.

Uvalde school shooter was in school for up to an hour before law enforcement broke into room where he was barricaded and killed him

The gunman who killed 19 students and two teachers at a Texas elementary school Tuesday was on the premises for up to an hour before law enforcement forcibly entered a classroom and killed him, officials said Wednesday.

"It's going to be within, like 40 minutes or something, (within) an hour," Texas Department of Public Safety director Steven McCraw told CNN's Ed Lavandera at a news conference.

The 18-year-old shooter, Salvador Ramos, was in a standoff with law enforcement officers for about a half-hour after firing on students and teachers, Rep. Tony Gonzales, whose district includes Uvalde, told CNN's Jake Tapper, citing a briefing he was given.

"And then (the shooting) stops, and he barricades himself in. That's where there's kind of a lull in the action," Gonzales said. "All of it, I understand, lasted about an hour, but this is where there's kind of a 30-minute lull. They feel as if they've got him barricaded in. The rest of the students in the school are now leaving."

Raul Ortiz, Chief of the US Border Patrol, told CNN that agents arrived at the scene after police officers engaged the suspect at the school. Several members of the Border Patrol tactical team, a search and rescue responder and a few other agents joined local officers to form a team that went after the gunman.

"They didn't hesitate. They came up with a plan. They entered that classroom and they took care of the situation as quickly as they possibly could," Ortiz told.

That ended the second deadliest shooting at a K-12 school in the United States since 2012, when 26 children and adults were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School. It was at least the 30th shooting at a K-12 school in 2022, according to ...

Chris Murphy Has Seen the Aftermath of a School Massacre. He Wonders if America Should Too
“Would people be moved to action if they saw what a kid looked like after, you know, 12 or 15 bullets went through their body?”

Chris Murphy has seen the photographs of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The Connecticut senator is one of the few people who have. The public has been spared the images of the “unthinkable, grisly, horrific scenes,” he says, so shocking that the first responders who first entered the classrooms required as much counseling as the parents who lost their children.

“I sometimes wonder what would happen if the photos from inside these scenes became public,” Murphy mused on Wednesday morning. “Would people be moved to action if they saw what a kid looked like after, you know, 12 or 15 bullets went through their body?”

Murphy doesn’t pretend to know what unfolded at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, where at least 19 children and two teachers were murdered on Tuesday afternoon. Nor will he venture to imagine the scene at the nearby civic center, where loved ones were either reunited with their children or shattered by the news they never would be.

But at the Newtown firehouse on December 14, 2012, he’d huddled with the families who weren’t spared the horror of learning their children had been among the 20 killed. The Uvalde gunman used an AR-15 type rifle, just as the Sandy Hook shooter had. So Murphy isn’t sparing anyone what’s emerging from Uvalde, never shying away from the heartbreaking details as he elevates reporting from the scene. “Imagine being 9 years old, and watching ...

Show it all.
Make huge prints and hang them in the "Halls of Congress".

I've seen a shooting and it haunts you.

The more we find out about what happened the more it becomes clear that not only did the police lie about what happened but they completely effed up their response.

Gunman entered Texas elementary school unobstructed, was inside for an hour
Public safety official says school's door appeared to be unlocked, with no security guard

The Associated Press

The gunman who massacred 19 children and two teachers at a Texas elementary school Tuesday was inside for more than an hour before he was killed in a shootout, law enforcement authorities said Thursday amid mounting public anger and scrutiny over their response to the rampage.

A media briefing called by Texas safety officials to clarify the timeline of the attack provided bits of previously unknown information.

By the time it ended, though, it had added to the troubling questions surrounding the attack in the town of Uvalde, including about the time it took police to reach the scene and confront the gunman, and the apparent failure to lock a school door he entered.

After two days of providing often conflicting information, investigators said that a school district police officer was not inside Robb Elementary when 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos arrived around 11:30 a.m. local time, and, contrary to their previous reports, the officer had not confronted Ramos outside the building.

Instead, they sketched out a timeline notable for unexplained delays by ...

Where There Should Be a Memorial, the NRA Is Still Trying to Throw Itself a Party
Scenes from the NRA’s annual convention, where the nation’s largest gun lobby isn’t letting 19 murdered children get in its way

TIM DICKINSON

The National Rifle Association bills its convention hall as “14 acres of guns & gear.” But the hall is less than 300 miles away from Uvalde — where 19 elementary school students were murdered at a “hardened” school by a lone gunman with an AR-15, while “good guys with guns” reportedly stood down for nearly an hour — and the convention lineup is shrinking.

The big-name musical acts, including Don “American Pie” McLean and Lee “Proud to Be an American” Greenwood, have bowed out of the “NRA Grand Ole Night of Freedom” concert scheduled for Saturday. Top Texas politicians including Rep. Dan Crenshaw, Sen. John Cornyn, and Gov. Greg Abbot will no longer appear in person — although Sen. Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are still slated to speak later today.

While flags are flying half-mast on buildings downtown, inside the massive Houston convention hall, there’s little sign that a national tragedy has occurred. There are tattooed men in “Let’s Go Brandon” T-Shirts milling among older couples with “Trump 2024” gear — and even a few families pushing around babies in strollers. The main floor of the convention hall is a gun show, featuring precision “takedown rifles,” Make America Great Again high-capacity magazines, and endless varieties of the AR-15 platform rifle, used in both the Uvalde and Buffalo attacks. A Black Rifle Coffee stand is serving up “AK Espresso.”

For the troubled NRA, Houston was supposed to mark the stirrings of a comeback — a big, 150th anniversary meeting, celebrated a year late due to the pandemic.

But that was always a doomed aspiration. The specifics might have varied, but when you’re an organization that exists to defend the tools for mass shootings in a country that has them on a daily basis, your convention will always coincide with ugly reminders of who you are and what you do.

The NRA’s leaders seem to have made their own peace with that, but they’re having far more trouble keeping the peace with one another. The last in-person annual meeting in Indianapolis, in 2019, saw NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre fend off a coup attempt by then-president Oliver North, amid dueling claims of ...

And the bullshit continues ....

Cops Waited 47 Minutes Because They Were Waiting for a Key to the Door, Thought Shooter Was Barricaded Despite 911 Calls

David Badash

Texas law enforcement officers on scene in Uvalde, Texas waited 47 minutes to break into the classroom where an 18-year old gunman slaughtered 19 children because they were waiting for a key to open the door, and thought it was no longer an active shooter situation.

“From the benefit of hindsight…it was the wrong decision,” admitted Texas Department of Public Safety director Col. Steven McGraw.

That decision was made despite children calling 911 during that time, begging for help, according to ....

The cops are getting desperate trying to justify their actions (or lack thereof) :angry

So we have a door that can't be kicked in, a soundproof enclosure where shots can't be heard and there are no windows to look inside?

Okay.

Okay.

Let's not forget the multiple 911 calls by students from inside the school.

Shooter’s Grandfather Says Family Had ‘No Idea’ He’d Two Legally Bought AR-15s

https://neverlose.info/shooters-grandfa ... ht-ar-15s/

Quote:
.... one of the weapons used was an $1870 Daniel Defense weapon.

According to Daily Dot, the receipt had been posted on Yubo, appearing as though it had been ordered online and then picked up from local Daniel Defense dealers listed in Uvalde.

The obvious question - where did an unemployed 18 year old get the money to purchase the better part of $4,000 worth of guns as well as 300 rounds of ammunition?

Apparently dead kids don't count :angry

NRA Boss: We’re the Real Victims Here
TIM DICKINSON

Nineteen children and two adults were murdered at the Robb Elementary School, in part because the gun lobby has made it legal for 18-year-olds in Texas to buy weapons designed for mass killing.

But to hear National Rifle Association honcho Wayne LaPierre tell it, the real victim here is the NRA.

LaPierre took the stage of the National Rifle Association’s governance meeting Saturday to the strains of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” and delivered an angry address in which he painted the NRA as the target of “weaponized government.”

The NRA’s “Annual Meeting of Members” was held in the same 3,500-seat convention center arena where Donald Trump appeared Friday night, and read the aloud the names of the children massacred in Uvalde, each mangled Spanish pronunciation marked by the synthesized clang of a bell.

But if Friday’s events were staged for a nation-wide audience, Saturday’s meeting was dedicated to the internal politics of the NRA. Top brass sat in a row at a long table on the stage, rising to in turn to deliver fiery speeches. The event — which gives NRA members the rare chance to ...

Justice Dept. to review response to Texas school shooting
By The Associated Press

The Justice Department said Sunday it will review the law enforcement response to the Texas school shooting, an unusual federal look back prompted by questions about the shifting and at times contradictory information from authorities that have enraged a community in shock and sorrow.

Department spokesman Anthony Coley said the review would be conducted in a fair, impartial and independent manner and the findings would be made public. The announcement came as ...

Since this is Texas we'd be looking at 21 fewer NRA members.

Tell them that and watch the gun laws come rolling out.
