Basically I haven't changed a lot except perhaps a little wiser hopefully with the years.Been taking a beating on Facebook from my conservative friends but I despise Trump and almost everything he does and cannot wrap my head around how his supporters keep buying his snake oil... retired in Arkansas now and have become a news junky with Maddow being my favourite...glad to see so many familiar names on the board!

North Carolina, but originally from New York City. I am a transplanted Yankee for a good number of years now. I am though, getting really, really, tired of hurricanes. I have gone though 5 or 6 of them since I have been here and the last one took a lot out of me. Things though are slowly and I mean slowly, getting back to normal.

I love North Carolina, K. I have e-mail correspondents there, and one of my closest friends lives there. I hear all about your tumultuous politics from them. The state is such a mixture of terrible and glorious, like Texas.
