I saw the documentary/film "Bully" yesterday ~ the cameras run as a few kids [middle and high schoolers] across the country relate their experiences of being bullied ~ the cameras also focus on two families, who each lost a bullied child to suicide ~ it is a "no frills" exposure of the physical and emotional trauma suffered by the young victims and their families ~ and exposes how clueless and inept many parents, authorities, and schools are in dealing with what can only be described as an insidious epidemic ~

I know it sounds grim ~ it IS grim ~ but I strongly urge everyone to see it, especially those of you with kids or grandkids in elementary/middle/high school ~ and I hope you will see it with your kids/grandkids ~ it delivers an extremely powerful and exceptionally important message ~

It is playing at one of our local theatres. I saw the trailer and it looks good.
